  I really want to love The Corner House Bistro – but I just don’t. It’s a quaint and fancy family owned place to eat. The interior is a renovated home and feels very much like you’re eating in a living room. I found it dark, small and a little awkward – like eating in a home rather than a restaurant. When I went there was only 3 or 4 other families and it just felt like we were all eating together - just awkward.
  
  Food selection is very limited. I went here on Valentine’s day and there are little to no vegetarian options. Service was good and pretty quick but nothing crazy.
  
  My main problem with this places is that the prices are insane! The food was okay but these prices compete with places like The KEG – and I would much rather eat there due to the inviting atmosphere and selection rather than this dark dining room. I appreciate that it’s family owned and local but I just did not enjoy my time enough at the corner stone to want to ever return or recommend it to others. I feel there target market is couples in the age range of 55+.

  First let me say the the newly renovated interior is absolutely stunning! The ambiance is perfect with attention given to every little detail. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, which allowed for an easy flow of conversation at the table. We started with the house Shiraz which did not disappoint. The calamari was fresh and lightly seasoned to perfection and the stuffed shrimp was delicious. Every dish from appetizer to dessert was honestly flawless. The prices are consistent with fine dining and most definitely in line with the quantity and quality of the food.
  To say I'm happy to skip the 45 minute drive to Toronto for this level of dining experience is an understatement. Wonderful experience all around.

  Great food, nice atmosphere did a great job redecorating. Unfortunately after I payed my $225 bill they forgot my cappuccino and grand mariner and asked for them to give it half off and they wouldn't even compliment it considering it was only worth $10. I know many people that come here and I will let them know about my experience. I deff won't be retiring!!

  The atmosphere was very dim, almost a little depressing. It was a little too dark for my taste and everyone i came with. I ordered steak and shrimp, 37 bucks, thin cut medium quality steak, nothing special what so ever. Save your money and go to the keg. Service was very good, but thats about only thing i liked.
